Today is a Good, Good Day

We had our 14 week appointment today.
It was with a "high risk" doctor. He was looking at the thickness of the babies neck and the nasal bone. Both were perfect!!!
I had been on pins and needles all day today waiting for this appointment. I knew that either way, whatever the results were we would be ok because we have our Savior who loves and protects us. I had a feeling that things were just going to be ok.

They were so good that we were able to find out what we are having.
I asked the dr. that if he could tell what we were having that I wanted him to write it down. I did not want to find out there in the office.
Once we left we went strait up stairs to the newborn nursery to see my mom, she works there. We decided that we wanted to share this moment with her. We waited and waited for her..she was a little busy with other new moms and babies. I gave her my camera, you know I had to document, to capture this special moment. Corey and I read it together. It said.............................

Wait for it.......................................................................................................................................................

It's a GIRL!!!!!!!! (at least we are 98% sure)

Words cannot describe the feelings we both had and still have. This baby girl is such a true blessing.

The moment we found out

That card says....It's a Girl!!!

I love you mom, thanks for sharing this moment with us.

A letter to Baby Bumble Bee

My sweet little baby,

Yesterday we had our first appointment with Dr. Brough. He is our OB. I already miss Dr. M, but I know we are in great hands. Daddy was not able to come with us so I asked the next best person...Nana, (my momma). Dr. B did not do another sono, but he did let us hear your beautiful heartbeat for the very first time. He said it was 160 beats per minute, some people say that means that you are possibly a little boy...:) I was sad Daddy was not there to share that moment with us, but it was so very special for me and Nana. We both just cried when we heard that sweet sound. You are already so, so loved.

We went from a very sweet day to a very sad day today. We buried your Great Grandmother Mamaw. She was my Grandmother and a very wonderful woman. Other than my mom, she is the strongest women I have ever know. She will be so missed. I know that you will never get a chance to meet her, but I was grateful that you were able to be with me today at her funeral.
Beautiful Mamaw

I love you sweet Bumble Bee,
Your Mommy

Christi and Scott's Wedding

We had such a fun weekend in Austin.

It was Christi and Scott's amazing wedding. They were both so happy and so sweet. My favorite part was when Scott finally saw Christi walk down the aisle...they were both in tears, so of course, I was in tears. It was truly a wonderful day.

Here are a few pictures of the fun day......

The bride and groom

The tables were so pretty

Me and Corey...not sure what he's doing:)
I love you both so much and was so honored to be a part of your special day. I know it was a long time coming and I am so glad that I was able to be there and witness such a beautiful and pure love. God bless you both.

Sweet Sisters

I have the sweetest sisters EVER!!!!

This is what I came home to today......
My very first baby gift!!!!!
It was most adorable onesie I have ever seen. Camille called me today as she was breaking into my house:) She said she was going over to pick up her booster seat, but little did I know what she was really up to. Then on my way home I was on the phone with Mary Madeline. As I walked in the door I told her Camille had left me something and I was so EXCITED!!! As I opened it I realized it was from both of them...the are so great!!! I cried, Mary Madeline was crying. I was a great moment.
It just makes me realize that this baby is really growing and is really coming.
I love you both, thank you!!!!

Oh Happy Day!!!

This is such a happy day for me....I am actually telling the world that we are havin a baby!!!
We have known for some time, but due to our past experiences we waited to share.
But, boy am I glad this day is here!! I have been ready to explode for sometime.
We have been praying and praying for this day for over 2 years now. There are times that I still can't believe this has all happened to us. I mean, the 2 years of tyring and 4 miscarriages. You just never think it is going to happen to you.
I feel honored and blessed to have been given this opportunity.
We have already had 3 sonograms due to the fact that I am so "high risk". I will post those as soon as I get them all scanned. Yesterday was our 11 wk appointment. It was amazing!! We were able to see the little bumble bee flip, wave, and kick. I can not believe that is all happening inside of me. I can't wait till I can feel it.
God had a plan for us. He must have known that we just were not ready when we started trying. So many things have happened in the past 4 months that I just know God had this all perfectly planned for us. Corey and I both started new jobs, his less demanding of his time and mine, well....just a better move for me in every way, (except for missing my friends).
I love, love knowing that he is in control and that ultimately he has it planned out for me either way.
Our due date is April 16th. Such a perfect date for a teacher...now I will get 2 months off at the end of the year as well as the summer to love and kiss on my little sweetie. That was an answer to a prayer too in case you were wondering:)
Thank you to all of my family for constantly being right by my side.
To my sisters, I don't know what I would have done without all of you the past 2 years....I love, love you more than you know.
Thank you to my friends from every walk of my life. At times I feel like I am the luckiest girl in the world having all of you. Everywhere I turned during that time you were ALL there, even if I didn't want you. I can't tell you what that has meant to me.
Momma, I love you more than words can express. You are and always will be my VERY best friend. Thank you for your constant love and shoulder to cry on. Like I always say...I wouldn't be me without you. I love you so very much.
Corey, my rock...this has been the longest and hardest struggle I hope that we ever have to face. Thank you for being so strong for me even when I know you were ready to break down yourself. God definitely knew what he was doing when he gave you to me, he knew how much I was going to need you. I love you more today than I ever thought possible. I can't wait to see our beautiful little miracle.
And yes, Camille and Mary Madeline we can finally get excited!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Classroom

I officially in my first week of teaching PPCD-K!!!!!
So many emotions have overcome me this week....exhausted, excited, overwhelmed, just to name a few. I have also asked myself "What the heck was I thinking!!!!!" Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love it, but it's just different and HARD!!!!!!
I have 8, 5 year olds at the moment, but I know one more is coming on Monday and possibly one more after that. Yikes!!!! 10 kids...that's a lot. But I can't wait to meet them.

I can already tell how much my world has changed by meeting each and every one of them. I already love them so much. Here is a little peek of my enormous classroom.
